I did not think that this movie was going to be enjoyable to watch as it was. This movie is interesting from the beginning of the movie to the end. Everything is well done. The soundtracks of the movie are nice and fit with the specific scenes of the movie when they play, they are just timed perfect for each scene. The actors are all good and play their part well individually including the main protagonist. I think they did a good job of choosing her for this role and it suits her fine. It has been a long time for me since I have watched a good Mermaid movie like this one and it also needs a sequal that is good as this one. I am not a fan of these type of movies but I can assure you that even a person who does not like watching these kind of movies is going to like this watch because of how good this movie really is. It deserves to be on the top spot for the year it was released and think it will stay amongst one of the classic movies even after a decade.
